Jeremy's Decision

icon

This family oriented story has a strong message for girls, boys and parents about expectations and achievements. The storyline and surprise ending will keep the audience or reader engaged.

"Are you going to be famous, just like your father?"  People were always asking Jeremy that question.  He knew someone would ask it again tonight - at least three times - in front of his father.  That was the worst part.  Jeremy didn''t want to disappoint his dad, but he wasn''t ready to make such a big decision.  He knew his ears would turn red and he would say what he always said ... "I don''t know."  As it turned out, this night was different.  This was the night of Jeremy''s Decision.

Illustrated by Michael Martchenko:
Growing up in a small town north of Paris, France, Michael loved comic books and learned a lot about visual humor from watching cartoons. He moved to Canada when he was seven. By high school Michael knew that he wanted to make art his career. Upon graduation from the Ontario College of Art in 1966, Michael began working in commercial art. He was the creative art director for TDF Artists in Toronto until 1993. Michael spends most of his time illustrating in his home studio.
